James Franco is a really really cool guy. His crooked smile, fit physique, cocky attitude, laid back strut and confident charm make him an obvious choice as a body language and mannerism role model.

 

Will Smith is hands down the most cheerfully optimistic and genuine nice guy out there. I don’t claim to know what he is like in person but that kind of smile really can’t be faked. He started off his career by breaking the rap mold and refusing to cuss in his lyrics. He then went on to star on his own TV show and then became a huge hollywood movie star.

 

 

Jeans are what I feel most comfortable in. They look good, feel good, age well, and help define my style. I’ve gotten so used to wearing skinny jeans that if I can’t feel them hugging my legs I feel like I’m naked. I’d rather sleep in jeans than sweat pants, and shorts just feel wrong.

 

I’m superstitious. I can’t even remember where I found this 50 cent coin, but I won’t go anywhere without it. I feel like one of the luckiest people out there and I’m not about to leave this behind in case it has something to do with it, as ridiculous as that sounds.

My tracking book. I read that the best way to stay motivated and get results when dieting, working out, trying to lose weight, trying to bulk up, get healthier, etc is to track your results. Most professionals claim that tracking is just as important as diet and working out. I’ve given it a shot, and so far it’s working.

The trashed ticket. Best concert of my life. Road trip to montreal with two of my best friends, befriending a rock solid frightening 300 pound 6’5 metalhead drummer, getting beat on by a kid who went nuts because he stopped taking his meds, and getting trampled in a circle pit combined with seeing 2 of my favorite bands one after another made this one of the most memorable nights of my life. Then we had to drive back that night to make it home in time for school the next morning. We showed up to class looking almost as trashed as this ticket.

My guitar. I don’t play it as much as I should, as you can see from the dust, but mastering it is one of my life goals.

Another adventure in Montreal: hunting down the plane chain that the mean gangster looking guy hanging out in the alley was wearing. We eventually found it. I got along great with the store owner, and ended up getting it for free.

Lamb of god. I really wanted to see them but they were only coming to BC. One of my friends lives there so I asked him to pick me up a shirt. He bought the shirt, wore the shirt, mailed the shirt. The truck that the shirt was in got in an accident, the shirt got a sleeve torn off, my friend got a rebate, and then he re-mailed me the shirt with the other sleeve cut off too, since he had tried to balance it out. I get made fun of whenever I wear it, but I wear it.

My korg, like my guitar: covered in dust. I really want to master this too though.
